BIOflex®FL is a durable, white, flexible substrate. Tear and fade resistant, it will withstand all types of weather conditions. BIOflex has been engineered to be the first truly environmentally friendly, biodegradable PVC. It is well suited for applications that require a frontlit digitally printed sign or banner.
BIOflex®FL is a “Green” vinyl banner substrate that contains no toxins. The unique composition of BIOflex®FL ensures its quality as an eco-friendly vinyl banner material without leaving its imprint indelibly on the planet through Chlorine or other toxic emissions – a large problem with most vinyls until now. This radical new vinyl banner material is engineered to break down under landfill conditions (darkness, high heat and moisture) within three to five years without emitting toxic content.

Apparel Printing
• Aluminum screens are reused over and over again, even mended when damaged so they can be reused.
• Cleaning detergents are re-circulated for longer use to ensure minimum waste.
• Whenever possible, vender boxes are reused in order to minimize the need for new boxes.
Full Color Printing
• 100% recyclable aluminum plates are collected monthly
• Plate box packing material is reused for box packing to ensure optimum transit security.
• Ink is distributed to our presses via 55 gallon drums to reduce landfill and waste.
• Our six, house stocked papers are warehoused by the truckload, which reduces semi truck deliveries from weekly stops to only one per month.
• All paper trimmings, unused paper products and runs that do not meet our exceptional quality standards are recycled weekly.
Full Color Offset Inks
Rather than use traditional, cheaper petroleum based inks, Wave Werks uses soy and vegetable based inks. Our ink contains more than 20% soybean oil and 100% solids. It is formulated without petroleum ink solvent, as well as having no volatile organic compound related problems, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
Cleaning Solutions
We only use 100% biodegradeable, organic solvent for reclamation and breakdown, in place of cheaper, hazardous mineral spirits.
Shipping Boxes
All Wave Werks products are shipped in 100% recyclable, corrugated cardboard boxes or reused boxes from deliveries to our facilities.
Internal Recycling Program
Werks employees recycle plastic, styrofoam, aluminum, glass and paper products throughout the workday. An on-screen computer based production system keeps employee paper usage to a minimum.
